Built with a three-layer polypropylene (3LPP) system-fusion bonded epoxy primer, adhesivecopolymer, and extruded polypropylene topcoat-these pipes deliver exceptional resistance tocorrosion, impact, and elevated temperatures up to 110°C. Description

3LPP steel pipe is a high-performance solution for pipelines operating under elevated temperature and mechanical stress conditions. The system consists of a fusion-bonded epoxy primer for strong adhesion, an adhesive copolymer for interlayer bonding, and a polypropylene topcoat that provides excellent resistance to impact, chemicals, and heat up to 110 °C.

Each 3LPP steel pipe is produced through automated electrostatic and extrusion coating processes under strict quality control, ensuring uniform thickness and consistent bonding strength. This advanced protection system extends the service life of 3LPP steel pipes in demanding environments such as oil, gas, and chemical transport lines—both onshore and offshore.

The 3LPP coating process involves surface preparation, FBE primer application, adhesive copolymer bonding, and polypropylene extrusion. Each layer is applied under controlled conditions to ensure strong adhesion, uniform thickness, and excellent thermal and mechanical protection.

Packing & Transportation

3LPP steel pipes are carefully packaged to prevent coating damage during handling and shipment. Each pipe is fitted with end caps, separated by soft spacers, and wrapped to ensure surface protection and stability throughout transportation.

Bundle or Frame Packing: Pipes are fastened with steel straps or wooden frames, using protective pads to avoid coating contact.
Container Shipping: Recommended for ≤6 m pipe lengths and small to medium project quantities.
Bulk Vessel Transport: Suitable for large-diameter or long-length 3LPP steel pipes, supported by wooden saddles and multilayer wrapping to prevent deformation.
