Ringlock Scaffolding

Ringlock Scaffolding is a modular scaffolding system designed for large-scale projects with significant weight-bearing requirements. Each module connects via wedge-lock pins, forming a complete, continuous, and stable structure. The core structure of Ringlock Scaffolding typically consists of Standard, Ledger, Diagonal Brace, Base Jack, and Steel Plank components. These elements provide Ringlock Scaffolding with high load-bearing capacity, strong structural stability, and excellent lateral resistance. Ringlock Scaffolding generally utilizes carbon steel tubing, which offers fast production processing, high hardness, and excellent perforation properties, making it the optimal material choice for scaffolding systems. Below is a detailed introduction to Ringlock Scaffolding, along with the advantages of our company’s steel pipes and modular products.

Note

Scaffolding pipes must be selected from steel tubing, not low-strength or scrap steel. Pipes must comply with international standards to ensure adequate strength.
The mechanical properties of scaffolding pipes vary by material, but the minimum yield strength is 235 MPa, and the minimum tensile strength is ≥ 360 MPa.
Typical load capacities for Ringlock Scaffolding are as follows: Working Platform Load: 2.0 – 5.0 kN/m²; Heavy Duty Load: up to 7.5 kN/m²; Vertical Load Capacity of Standard: 40 – 60 kN; Horizontal Load: 3 – 5 kN. Never exceed the design load capacity.
Surface treatment requirements: Hot-Dip Galvanized: 60–85 μm; Pre-Galvanized: 20–30 μm; Painted: 30–50 μm.

Ringlock Scaffolding Structure

Standard

Primary load-bearing components responsible for supporting structural and construction loads. With disc joints welded to the upright poles, multiple ledgers and diagonals can be connected via a single disc joint, ensuring scaffold stability.

Ledger

Connects two uprights to form a horizontal support, secured with wedge pins. Adjustable length provides flexibility. The horizontal support ensures overall structural levelness.

Diagonal Brace

Diagonally supports between ledgers and uprights, forming stable triangular spaces. Effectively increases system rigidity, resists lateral forces, and ensures stable construction in swaying environments.

Base Jack

Mounted at the base of the upright pole to adjust the scaffolding’s balance. Its wide base plate also distributes load, adapting to uneven ground.

Steel Plank / Platform

A platform for construction personnel, capable of bearing both personnel and construction loads. The surface of this plank requires anti-slip treatment to ensure safety during elevated work.

Advantages of Ringlock Scaffolding and Piping

Ringlock Scaffolding Advantages

High Structural Stability
Ringlock Scaffolding utilizes disc-type connectors, with each node capable of accommodating up to 8 horizontal or diagonal braces, maximizing structural integrity. This system is extensively used in large-scale construction and bridge engineering projects.
Rapid Assembly and Disassembly
The pin-lock connection system enables swift scaffolding setup and dismantling without complex tools or bolts, reducing labor time by 30%–50%.
High Load-Bearing Capacity
Featuring a stable triangular support structure, Ringlock Scaffolding distributes forces evenly and can support relatively heavy loads.

Pipe Advantages

High-Strength Steel Material
The steel pipes used in manufacturing Ringlock Scaffolding are Q235/Q355/ASTM A500/S355 grades. These materials offer excellent strength and weldability, meeting construction site requirements.
High Dimensional Accuracy
High-quality scaffolding requires precise outer diameters, wall thicknesses, and controlled length tolerances to ensure system stability. ALLLAND’s pipes adhere to standards and tolerance ranges, achieving dimensional precision through meticulous manufacturing.
Superior Surface Treatment
ALLLAND operates three coating production lines capable of diverse treatments, including essential anti-corrosion coatings for scaffolding. Options like pre-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, and spray painting meet diverse operational requirements.

Application for Ringlock Scaffolding

Construction Engineering
One of the most common application areas for Ringlock Scaffolding, with typical load-bearing capacity and erection parameters as follows:
Upright spacing: 1.5 m – 2.4 m
Working platform load capacity: 2.0 – 5.0 kN/m²
Maximum construction height: Can exceed 100 m

Bridge Engineering
Ringlock Scaffolding is primarily used for bridge formwork support during construction and for subsequent bridge maintenance. Given the high load-bearing requirements for bridges:
Steel tube outer diameter: 48.3 mm
Wall thickness: 3.2 mm – 4.0 mm
This configuration maximizes safety assurance.

Tunnel Engineering
Primarily used for stacking construction materials and installing equipment during tunnel construction, as well as for subsequent equipment maintenance. The scaffolding must feature flexible installation, compact equipment, and rapid deployment capabilities.
