Hollow Section pipe

Hollow Section refers to structural steel with a closed cross-section, featuring a hollow interior and regular external shape. Common types include Square Hollow Section (SHS), Rectangular Hollow Section (RHS), and Circular Hollow Section (CHS). Their primary function is to bear loads and provide structural support, rather than solely transporting fluids. Unlike open-section steel (such as I-beams or channel sections), Hollow Sections offer a higher strength-to-weight ratio and more stable load-bearing performance.
ALLLAND’s Hollow Section specifications, dimensional ranges, and standards are listed below. Please contact us for inquiries.

Hollow Section manufactured by ALLLAND

ALLLAND’s Hollow Sections are produced through continuous rolling forming, utilizing imported machinery for high-frequency welding with 24-hour automated production.
High-frequency welding not only achieves rapid welding speeds but also delivers weld seam strength that closely matches the base material, ensuring more stable pipe performance.
High dimensional accuracy ensures stable dimensions for ALL-LAND steel pipes. Square tubes feature precise angles and smooth surfaces, making them ideal for external leakage structures.
The hot-forming production process shapes materials at elevated temperatures, enabling superior subsequent heat treatment with minimal residual stress.

Common Types of Hollow Sections/ HSS

Based on load-bearing capacity, hollow sections can be categorized into three main types: SHS, RHS, and CHS. Their differing shapes result in varying degrees of stress uniformity and suit different application environments. Below is a brief introduction to hollow sections based on these three shapes.
