FIRE PIPE

Fire Pipe is a specialized pipe material designed for fire protection systems, serving to transport fire extinguishing agents. Such pipes require high pressure resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, and long-term stable performance. Current international Fire Pipe standards include: UL, EN 10255 / EN 10220, GB 50974, etc. Fire pipes are typically red in color and coated with an anti-corrosion layer. As a core component of fire protection systems, Fire Pipe is essential for ensuring safety in modern buildings.

Application Scenarios of Fire Pipe

Fire pipes are ubiquitous in various buildings and industrial facilities. Fire piping systems safeguard lives and property. Primary applications include:

Sprinkler Systems: Pipes deliver water to sprinkler heads for fully automated fire suppression.
Hose Systems: Primarily deployed in factories and warehouses, where fire pipes connect to hoses to supply water.
Fire Hydrant Systems: Fire pipes form the underground network for urban fire hydrants, serving as the primary water supply conduits.

Fire Pipe Acceptance

Fire Safety Standards:

All fire pipes comply with NFPA 13 / NFPA 14 / NFPA 20, GB 50974, and GB 50016 standards, meeting corresponding requirements.

Supporting Documentation: Product certification, factory inspection reports, Material Test Certificates (MTC), and verification against drawings and design specifications.

Material Acceptance:

Provide: Material reports, non-destructive testing reports, galvanized thickness verification, visual inspection, etc.

Dimensions and Installation:

Conduct spot checks on outer diameter and wall thickness, thread quality, groove connection dimensions, etc., to ensure compliance with specifications.

Pressure Testing: Water pressure test conducted at 1.5 times the design pressure for no less than 30 minutes.

Fire Pipe Connection Methods and Compatibility

ALLLAND fire protection pipes support multiple connection methods to adapt to various scenarios. Typically, fire protection systems utilize threaded connections, welding, flange connections, grooved connections, etc. Our pipes feature a standardized end-processing system with precise dimensions, ensuring full compatibility with your piping system.

Threaded Connection:

For small-diameter pipes, commonly used for terminal equipment connections or areas requiring frequent maintenance. Thread types include NPT/BSP, allowing direct connection to sprinkler heads or valves. Installation is convenient and requires no welding.

Welded Connection:

Suitable for medium-to-large diameter pipes, capable of withstanding high-temperature and high-pressure environments. Typically employs butt welding or socket welding, offering high strength and low leakage risk.

Flange Connection

Commonly used in machine rooms, pump ports, or equipment maintenance points. Achieves sealing through bolts and gaskets. Standardized specifications ensure strong versatility.

Grooved Connection

Typically employed for linking fire main pipes and fire risers. Utilizes grooved fittings to accelerate construction progress and shorten project timelines.
