What size range and grades do you produce for LSAW pipes?
Ø406–Ø1524 mm, up to 60 mm wall thickness; grades from B/X42 to X80 per API 5L. Tight weld accuracy and full-process NDT ensure dimensional stability.
Forming via JCOE with on-line seam tracking and automatic welding. Dimensional tolerance monitored by laser measurement; hydrotest + UT/RT/MT as per project ITP. MTC per EN10204 3.1; 3.2 available via TPI.
- Standards: API 5L/ASTM/EN/JIS
- NDT: UT of seam + RT spot, hydrostatic 100%
- Ends: Beveled (30°±2.5°), plain, or threaded by request
Do you support third-party inspection and 3.2 certificates?
Yes. SGS/BV/TÜV and client-appointed inspectors are welcome. We can issue EN10204 3.1 and coordinate 3.2 certification.
Full ERP–MES traceability from coil to finished pipe. TPI can witness key hold points: material verification, fit-up, welding, NDT, hydrotest, coating holiday, packing, marking.
Document pack includes MTC, NDT reports, hydrotest charts, dimensional records, coating certificates, packing list.
What coating systems are available and expected service life?
3LPE/3LPP/FBE with tailored thickness. Typical service life up to 50 years in properly selected environments with cathodic protection.
Holiday test at 25 kV or per spec; peel strength/impact/indentation tests per EN 10290/ISO 21809 or client spec. For marine or H₂S areas we recommend enhanced dual-layer systems and verified CP design.
- FBE single/double layer
- 3LPE/3LPP (PE/PP topcoat with copolymer adhesive)
- Internal linings on request
How do you control coating quality and repair holidays?
In-line pre-heat, powder flow control, DSC/adhesion tests, holiday detection; defects are repaired with approved kits and re-tested 100%.
Surface prep to Sa2.5–Sa3, anchor profile verified; oven curve recorded; coating thickness mapping retained. Repairs follow manufacturer procedures; records appended to Dossier.
What are typical MOQ and lead time for LSAW + coating?
Common MOQ 200–300 tons; lead time 25–45 days depending on grade, quantity, and coating load.
Critical path: plate procurement → forming/welding → NDT/hydrotest → bevel/ME → coating → packing → inspection → shipment. We offer rolling delivery to match site schedule.
Which documents and markings are provided for export?
Packing list, invoice, CO/FORM E as applicable, MTC, NDT/pressure reports, coating certificates, and pipe body/stencil markings.
Markings include size/grade/heat/batch/length/coating/standard and QR for traceability. Palletizing or saddles per sea-worthy packing; containerized or break-bulk per route.
