ERW Pipe Full From

ERW pipe stands for Electric Resistance Welded, a type of welded pipe. The ERW process involves rolling steel plate into a circular tube, then using high-frequency resistance heating to melt the steel plates on both sides of the seam. The edges are then pressed together to form a weld. Its key feature is the elimination of filler wire or electrodes, achieving welding directly through high-temperature fusion.
ERW pipes offer high dimensional accuracy, excellent surface quality, and high production efficiency, with manufacturing costs significantly lower than seamless steel pipes and LSAW pipes. Common standards include:

    • ASTM A53
    • ASTM A500
    • API 5L (select grades)
    • EN 10219 / EN 10255
    • JIS G3444 / G3466
